sun quincunx neptune/moon square venus

today’s astrology might deflate us a bit…we’ve been riding high in the wake of the Full Moon in Aquarius…Venus in bold Leo pumping up our egos…and then the Leo Sun- Aries Moon combination at the start of this week had us bursting with bravado and energy.

however, today, as the Leo Sun quincunxes Neptune in sensitive Pisces, we are being brought down to earth (or rather, the sea, as Neptune rules Pisces and the oceans).

with the Sun quincunx Neptune, we may feel unsettled re how our ideals harmonize (or not) with our current situation.  or we may want to go in a certain direction, but have strong misgivings about how we’ll get there.

for now, sit with these feelings of confusion without discarding anything fully yet.  Neptune has been Rx since June 28th, asking us to go within and re-examine any of our plans, and see if perhaps, we have been led by ‘wrong thinking’, which in yoga we call ‘avidya’

further angst & malaise is introduced via the steady Taurus Moon square Venus in Leo.  As Fixed Earth, Taurus is sensual, but also practical.  While Venus in Leo sets our hearts soaring with all the grandeur that we seem to deserve, the Taurus Moon says “show me the money” first.  In the case of Taurus it might also just mean “show me proof” before I give you the attention you deserve.  it’s a no-BS policy.

and that’s OK…this square aspect can inspire us to prove ourselves, to move into action (steadily, as Taurus likes), in order to achieve everything we feel that we’re worth (and with Venus in Leo, we feel we’re worth a lot!
