pisces full moon: sensing, not thinking
today at 5.59am ET, we’ll receive a sensual Full Moon in Pisces - the Harvest Moon. this Full Moon is conjunct Neptune in Pisces, sextile Pluto in stern Capricorn, and sextile Uranus in Taurus. There are dreamy vibes to spare; it’s a good time to be generous toward others…allow forgiveness and union to be your watchwords. Allow your creativity to flow without judgment.
Pisces, Virgo’s opposing sign, is the final sign; it incorporates all other signs. it’s as if Pisces has been here many lifetimes, and absorbed the wisdom of each sign. Pisces represents perfect flow, moving without effort, accomplishing without doing. But it’s not about being lazy or doing nothing at all. Pisces understands the big picture, the vast ocean (ruled by Neptune)…and so the essence can be grasped more readily.
The Pisces Full Moon is asking us to slow down, let go, and open ourselves to the hidden messages of the Universe. Pisces is about no boundaries, allowing the psyche to transport us beyond what’s apparent. As the final, most integrated sign, Pisces wants us to offer our body, mind, and spirit to the Divine. You can do this today by connecting with nature, especially natural bodies of water.
Virgo energy wants us to work hard, be precise/disciplined. Pisces wants to exist on an astral plane where time and space are mere illusions. During this Pisces Full Moon, remember that you dont have to be perfect or try to accomplish *everything*. In fact, the more you can allow yourself to give in to spirituality & intuition, the more you will achieve. you might even find that your goals change completely…because your focus will no longer be on material things & competition.
Virgo says “details matter”…Pisces says “by doing less, you grasp the grandeur of the Universe”. Both are right.
later, the Virgo Sun harmonizes trines Uranus in steady Taurus (exact tomorrow), adding an element of playfulness and sensual ease.
in yoga, we learn about 2 ways to approach spiritual growth: the Maryada Marg (the path of effort) and the Pushti Marg (the path of grace). to extend the metaphor to signs, we can think of Virgo as the path of effort (Maryada) and Pisces as the path of grace (Pushti). there’s nothing wrong with making an effort, or trying to work hard to get to the best version of yourself.
But the Pisces Full Moon is asking us to be open to the Pushti Marg, the path of flow, of being in tune with all the vibrations of the Universe…and to letting things unfold in their own natural time. We’ve had a lot of Virgo and Mercury-ruled energy of late, and the Pisces Moon is asking us to…just relax a moment. Let things unfold.
Tap into your intuition and let your self vibe out.
