Full Moon - Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio

Eclipse season dawns….

Everything kicks off November 19th at 3:55am ET, with the Moon moving into the Earth’s shadow…we’ll receive a Lunar Eclipse in sensual Taurus at 27 degrees. Fittingly, it’s the longest partial eclipse in 581 years..Taurus is known for its staying power.

This eclipse aligns with the North Node; the message we’re getting is to align with our dharma, or life purpose, in a more committed way. This lunation aspects Jupiter and Pluto, thus facilitating our expansion & depth. Taurus wants us to move away from manipulation (Scorpio) toward solidity or stability.

Lunar eclipses suggest major closure. Something significant in your life will reach a conclusion & a new chapter will begin. That could be an attitude, a relationship, or a job. If you keep track of what happens around the time of the eclipses, you’ll see the truth in what I’m saying. Personally, I have experienced major endings in my life around eclipse time; sometimes even on the very day of. (The eclipse effect could branch out ~1 month’s time, so use a margin of error.)

However, it’s not all doom & gloom. Since Taurus’ ruler, Venus, is currently in Capricorn, and will be making lovely connections with several other planets, we’ll be in for a treat in the love department- don’t isolate yourself. Get out there and enjoy those earthly pleasures…(hello Taurus)- sow those oats!

Specifically- Venus in Capricorn will be trine Uranus in Taurus, suggesting magnified upheaval or surprises (the sweet kind).
