new moon in virgo: bright, clear perspective
the new moon in Virgo arrives at 4.17am ET today. Virgo energy prioritizes order, precision, efficiency & clarity…and the New Moon in Virgo, asks us to re-examine whether we’ve got a good Standard Operating Procedure in the Virgo-ruled area of our natal chart.
however, this New Moon is accompanied by tension, misunderstanding, and micro-management. we need to go back for revisions to our Grand Plan. Mercury (the planet of the mind, information and communication) is highlighted, as the two signs of its rulership (Virgo + Gemini) are involved:
the Virgo New Moon squares Mars in Gemini tightly, arousing our frustration with any lack of efficiency or clarity. this frustration could take the form of anxiety, nitpicking, or bickering…we don’t want to tolerate a sloppy approach, but Mars in Gemini is scattering our focus…something Virgo abhors.
we may feel that we need to find the *correct* approach to handle emotional matters…but we feel pulled in multiple directions, and not quite confident about any of them.
However, a square can be very useful in that it ejects us from the comfort zone, where we’ve been stagnant, allowing life to pass us by without doing a darn thing to achieve our goals.
try to think of any deviations as a useful step in your refinement process, and forgive yourself for the initiatives that don’t yield the desired end-result. think of them as “rough drafts”, and allow yourself to explore without getting judgmental (or punishing yourself). Meanwhile, re-engage with what you believe to be your True North.
meanwhile Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus, indicating a desire to rebel or butt heads with our significant others. We may feel that current routines are dragging down our relationships…or that we’re simply not being treated with the respect we deserve. if you’ve allowed a *situation* to go on too long without standing up for yourself, Venus square Uranus may find you shocking the offending party and giving them a send-off they won’t soon forget. Go gently, don’t be a tyrant or judge.
whatever comes up, remember that as long as you’re alive you can peacefully make adjustments…ask for help & learn from missteps…forgive others; but most of all: forgive yourself. you’re only human.
